The Trail Riders Fellowship is the only body representing trail riders that is recognised by Government and Local Authorities as being the Authoritative and Responsible face of motorcycle trail riding.
Hertfordshire TRF needs to raise locally an estimated £16k fund to significantly increase the amount of local access and arrange more riding events.
Currently the membership fee goes to defending National rights at National level. Herts TRF does very well out of this with several local cases being funded at National level. For example Oakridge Lane and Icknield Way are major cases and each case can cost around £30k to £40k in legal costs plus an equivalent amount of National Volunteer time.
For the past 5 years Herts TRF has raised no local income. The group has grown from 80 to 453 members, however the local income per member remains at zero making Herts TRF the lowest fund raisers /donors per member in the TRF.
With no income, the local groups expenses and growth have been supported almost entirely by personal contributions of a very small number of Group Officers. This has amounted to several thousand pounds of local donation.
Any donations to our fund will be gratefully received, just click the link below to be taken to our secure payment page.
